feel like i’ve been sitting at this table for ages placing bets on hands that never win. not sure when this losing streak started and honestly can’t remember the last time i flat out won a single hand but i’m certain at some point i must have been on some sort of lucky run and then developed a very, very bad case of hubris because now the stakes keep getting higher but i just can’t stop. not now, not even though i know the house always wins.
